At THROvacs, throwing isn’t just a sport—it’s our life. Founded by Joe and Ashley Kovacs, our mission is to elevate the global throwing community through world-class coaching, innovative training tools, and a passion for helping athletes “find a way” to succeed.

Joe Kovacs is a multiple-time World Champion, multiple-time Olympic medalist, and one of the most decorated shot putters in history. With over a decade competing at the highest level, Joe knows firsthand what it takes to stand on the podium against the best in the world. His career is built on relentless training, constant innovation, and the belief that sharing knowledge strengthens the sport for the next generation.

Ashley Kovacs is recognized as one of the premier throws coaches in the world, with over a dozen years of Division I experience. She has developed multiple NCAA national champions and a long list of All-Americans, earning her a reputation for excellence across every level of the sport. Most recently, she served as the U.S. Olympic Team Coach for Women’s Throws in Paris, where she brought her technical expertise, leadership, and athlete-first approach to the world stage.

Together, we bring a unique perspective—an elite athlete and an elite coach, working side by side. We understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of chasing greatness. That’s why we created THROvacs: to provide athletes at every level access to the same knowledge, systems, and tools that have carried us to the world stage.

From online coaching and mentorship, to innovative products and live camps, THROvacs exists to inspire, educate, and equip throwers everywhere.
